Pre-Kindergarten Clinical Intensive

Catalog description

The pre-kindergarten clinical intensive provides students an embedded teaching experience in a preschool setting. Students plan and implement learning experiences that are developmentally appropriate for learners ages 3-5 and work as part of a preschool classroom teaching team. This course also creates an essential link between students’ clinical experience and university coursework. Through critical discussion and reflection, students examine teaching practices and effective strategies for positively impacting preschool children’s learning.
