This course provides an overview of analytical laboratory techniques and instrumentation to support the theory learned in the lecture component, CHEM 4310/5310. Techniques explored include UV-vis Absorption Spectroscopy, Fluorescence Spectroscopy, Raman Spectroscopy, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy, Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy, Inductively Coupled Plasma/Optical Emission Spectroscopy, Gas Chromatography, and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography.
