Intensive study of major topic in Hispanic linguistics. Topics vary: e.g., the Spanish pronominal system, American Spanish dialectology, Spanish orthography. Fulfills seminar requirement for students completing the Hispanic Linguistics Concentration of the Honors Spanish Major. Honors Embedded. Prereq: A grade of C- or above in 4430 or 4430H, plus any two of: 4532, 4534, 4534E, 4536, 4537, 4538, 4595.01, 4610, 4689S, 5389, or Portgse 5611. Repeatable to a maximum of 9 cr hrs.
