Catalog description
This course identifies and expands on Spanish heritage students' diverse identities and bilingual range through grammar review, vocabulary building, spelling and punctuation, and the development of composition skills. Listening, speaking, reading, and writing are emphasized through readings, written essays, and oral presentations. A grade of C- or above is required to move on to Spanish 3000-level. Not open to native, non-native, or non-heritage speakers of this language through regular course enrollment or EM credit. Prereq: A grade of C- or above in 1103 or 1113; or Spanish Placement Level 6. Not open to students with credit for 2202, or 3000+ level courses in the major or minor program.
