This course will examine the major problems facing urban communities in the 21st Century; the economic, social, and political forces that have historically shaped - and continue to influence - their development; the role of government in addressing urban problems; and the major p articipants and stakeholders in city politics. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for 505.
