This is an advanced course focusing on population PK/PD modeling. The course comprises an intensive workshop with hands-on training in the application of pharmacometrics principles and use of statistical modeling software (NONMEM and R). Prereq: 8020 and Math 2415, or any differential equations course; or permission of instructor. 8100 Health System Pharmacy Finance I G 1½ This course covers selected aspects of financial and managerial accounting as it relates to health systems and pharmacy. Learners will be introduced to financial concepts, issues, vocabulary, and tools that are needed by pharmacy leaders in the healthcare industry.
