Endoscopy

Catalog description

The course provides students with an opportunity to learn about endoscopy skills, history, and interpretation. Students will participate in a lecture and/or article review then hands on experience with endoscopy skills with Speech Pathologists who are specially trained in endoscopy. Students will begin to understand the anatomy of the vocal mechanism and physiology through developing scope skills. Prereq: Enrollment in Singing Health Program or Speech and Hearing Masters Program. This course is graded S/U.
