Pharmacology for Nurse Anesthesia Practice

Catalog description

This course will focus on medications necessary for safe nurse anesthesia practice including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and pharmacogenomics of medications used for safe anesthesia. A review of emergency and resuscitative medications, fluid/electrolyte replacement, transfusion therapy and drug diversion will be included. Prereq: Enrollment in the DNP program nurse anesthesia track.
