Introduction to Neuroscience I

Catalog description

This course will explore fundamental elements of central nervous system function. Through three modules that each cover a key area for understanding the brain - neurophysiology, protein and genetic contributions, and neurotransmitters and neuronal activity - learners will obtain principal knowledge of cellular structures in the brain and how neurons communicate. Prereq: Permission of instructor.
