Focus on biochemical processes unique to plants, including photosynthesis, respiration, carbon fixation and carbohydrate metabolic networks, cell wall and lipid synthesis, and nitrogen and sulfur assimilation for macromolecular synthesis. Prereq: Biochem 4511 (511), or equiv. Not open to students with credit for PlntBio 735 or 736. Cross-listed in Biochem.
