Catalog description
This course provides a solid foundation in genetics concepts and their applications. This course will focus on molecular genetics, cytogenetics, and biochemical genetics and will cover etiology, natural history, and treatment of genetic disorders needed for the practice of genetic counseling and working with a healthcare team. Prereq: 7000 and 7020, and enrollment in the Genetic Counseling Graduate Program.
