Assistive Technology for Seating and Mobility

Catalog description

Students learn how to develop and implement seating and mobility devices and services. The course includes information on mobility devices including canes, crutches, walkers, manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, scooters and power add-on devices. The course also includes information on seating systems including seat cushions, back supports, and postural supports. Prereq: 5100.
