Catalog description
Students develop the ability to proficiently evaluate and mitigate the risk of use-related hazards due to health information system design and implementation in a healthcare context. Quality improvement methods, including root cause analysis, are used to retroactively investigate reported sentinel events and patient safety issues. Prereq: Enrollment in the Usability and User Experience in Health Care (UUEH) certificate program at the Undergrad or Grad level.
