Engineering Sustainable and Resilient Communities focuses on applied, service-learning projects around Kilimanjaro,Tanzania. Students will contribute to the sustainability of partnered community's long-term food, water, energy, and health systems. In addition to participating in service in a global context, students will explore the complex challenges and opportunities of sustainable development in rural TZN. Prereq: CivilEn 4000.01. Concur: CivilEn 4000.02, or permission of instructor. Repeatable to a maximum of 4 cr hrs or 2 completions.
