Catalog description

Focus on the evolutionary processes that shape the ecology and behavior of invertebrate systems in a diverse tropical forest with a special emphasis on symbioses. Students will build skills in proposal writing, experimental design, and field research conducted at the world renowned Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama. Prereq: 3193 (Adams) or 8896.02 (Adams). Repeatable to a maximum of 12 cr hrs. This course is graded S/U.
