Catalog description
This graduate-level course provides an introduction to geometrical and physical optics and their applications in microscopy. We then discuss modern microscopy methods including fluorescence, confocal, multiphoton, and superresolution microscopy, and how they are used in biomedical science. Prereq: Grad standing in Engineering, or permission of instructor.
