Fourier series, complex differentiation and integration and transform and Green's function for solution of problems arising in heat transfer, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics; linear operators as applied to engineering problems. Prereq: Enrollment in the PMAPAE-MAA program. Not open to students outside of Mechanical, Aerospace or Nuclear Engineering or with credit for AeroEng 8518, MechEng 8518, AeroEng 6518.01 or MechEng 6518.01. Cross-listed in MechEng.
