Graphic Novels for Youth and Social Change

Catalog description

This course will examine how book-length comics for young people engage with socio-political issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Students will consider a wide array of different literary schools and narrative styles of graphic narratives about social justice, including fiction, nonfiction, and memoir. Prereq: Not open to students with credit for EduTL 6350.
