Field Experience: Early Childhood Visual Impairment

Catalog description

The experience is designed to provide: how students think & learn; how teachers engage students with visual impairments & others in the classroom in learning; how to work with children with VI in groups, including effectual guidance & discipline strategies; how to connect the classroom to families & community; how you can effectively bring the work done in pedagogy to work with VI students. Prereq: Admission to Early Childhood Education Major and Visual Impairments licensure program. Not open to students with credit for EduTL 3189.05. Repeatable to a maximum of 4 cr hrs or 4 completions.
