Sciences Advanced course on a mixed methods approach to measurement & scale development for social & behavioral sciences. Provides knowledge & applied skills for implementing a validation process that includes qualitative steps, such as defining a construct through a literature review, obtaining expert feedback on preliminary items, cognitive testing of items; and preliminary to advanced statistical tests. Prereq: Grad standing, and enrollment in Social Work doctoral program; or permission of instructor.
