Catalog description
This course introduces students to laboratory techniques used to study plant-associated microbes and to diagnose plant diseases. Topics include parasitism and disease development, fungi, oomycetes, bacteria, viruses, nematodes, plant-microbe interactions, disease epidemiology and disease management. Prereq: Biology 1101, 1113, or Entmlgy 1101. Concur: 3001. Not open to students with credit for 6001.
