Public Health Foundations of Maternal and Child Health

With a primary focus on the United States, this course provides a comprehensive introduction to the field of Maternal and Child Health (MCH) in the public health context. Students will explore the major health problems, foundational programs and theories, and public policy issues impacting the well-being of women and birthing people, children, and families. Prereq: PubHHBP 3510 and GE foundation writing and info literacy course; or Grad standing; or permission of instructor.
