Undergraduate Internship in Public Health

Catalog description

Internship with a public health organization, non-profit, healthcare system, or similar entity in which students gain practical experience in the public health sector. This course is not for use as the BSPH capstone experience. Credit hours are determined by the total internship hours to be logged during the semester: 1 credit = 40 hours, 2 credits = 80 hours, 3 credits = 120 hours. Students may not receive credit for an internship already completed. Prior approval required Prereq: Enrollment in BS Public Health major; and approval of internship from the College of Public Health. Repeatable to a maximum of 4 cr hrs or 2 completions.This course is graded S/U.
