Occupational Therapy for Young Children

Catalog description

Prepares students to work with infants and young children across medical and educational environments. Students will learn to identify performance limitations in young children with a variety of developmental disorders/diagnoses. Students will learn to administer standardized assessments, interpret the findings and develop an intervention plan. Prereq: Enrollment in the Doctorate in Occupational Therapy program, or permission of instructor.
