Research Techniques in Neuroscience

Catalog description

This course will focus on experimental design, developing a solid research question, and writing a hypothesis in ways that relate to both basic and clinical research including contemporary and popular research techniques, such as the use of transgenic animals, animal behaviors, cellular culture, gene and protein assays, microscopy, immunohistochemistry, gene therapy, as well as optogenetics. Prereq: 5501, and 5502.
