First course on automated driving vehicles and their sub-systems; automated driving history and architectures; car following control; steering control for path tracking, lane keeping; collision mitigation and avoidance; localization and situational awareness; lower and higher-level decision making including deep learning; connected vehicle technologies; evaluation of autonomous driving function. Prereq: 3551, 5551, or Grad standing in Engineering.
