Key technologies of industrial biopharmaceuticals (protein, cellular and gene therapies) will be introduced: therapy development, unit operations, bioprocessing, biomanufacturing, GLP, cGMP, quality control, clinical trials, and FDA regulations. Prereq: CBE 2200; or BiomedE 2000; or Biochem 2210; or Biology 3401; or MolGen 2690; or grad standing in Engineering; or permission of instructor. Not open to students with credit for CBE 5730.
