Catalog description

An exploration of contemporary issues and breakthroughs in biology from diverse biological fields. Students will analyze scientific literature and various media sources, discuss ethical and societal implications, and develop critical thinking skills by evaluating how biology shapes our world in real time. Prereq: 1101 or 1110; or 1112 and 1114.xx; or 1113.xx and 1114.xx.
