Business: Decisions from Data Provides business students with an overview of artificial intelligence, focusing on modern machine learning methods and applications. We study and implement supervised and unsupervised machine learning systems using software and data from practical, business contexts. Upon completion, participants will be able to identify and capitalize on opportunities to create value with artificial intelligence. Prereq: MBA 6273 or equivalent. 7248 SMB-A Capstone Development G 1½ While the SMB-A coursework is designed to develop the skill sets of students in Management Analytics topics, equally valuable for managers is experience in managing analytics teams. For that reason, the pre-cursor instruction of the Analytics Management capstone is designed to allow students to demonstrate skills gained in coursework, while also exposing them to challenge of managing a small team. Prereq: Enrollment in SMB-Analytics program.
