This course examines the history of anatomy as a way categorizing and explaining the relationships of parts to wholes in once living creatures, notably human beings. We focus on the history of anatomical observations, education, modes of communication, and professionalization. Prereq: 2220, 2300, or 3300; or Grad standing; or permission of both instructors.
