Catalog description
This hands-on course introduces students to Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAM) utilizing SolidWorks software. Students will learn to design mechanical parts and create assemblies followed by creating tool paths for Computer Numeric Control (CNC) machining. Students will explore real-world manufacturing practices including machining strategies, proper tool selection, programming and post-processing for various CNC machine centers.
