In Arguing and Persuading, we'll explore the power of persuasive writing and argumentative strategies in contexts such as public speaking, politics and online discussions among many others. You'll learn about theories and methods of crafting compelling arguments and persuading others effectively. You will practice persuasive and argument skills through engaging writing projects. Prerequisite: EN 111. Offered: Fall.
