This course explores topics of historical or contemporary interest specific to Latin America. Students will read, analyze and discuss materials from pre-Columbian to the 21st century to garner a better understanding of Latin American identity and to explore cultural themes and historical issues that have shaped Latin America. 3 Lecture hours. Taught in English. Prerequisite: EN 111. Offered: Fall.
