Spanish for Business

Catalog description

Spanish for Business cultivates an understanding of the Spanish speaking business world across the United States, Latin America and Spain. This course introduces essential vocabulary for the globalized international business world, practical reference information and case studies that emphasize cross cultural perspectives. It promotes both classroom learning and cross cultural communications skills in the context of international business through real life situations that will allow the students to expand their knowledge and develop critical thinking and problem solving skills. Students learn how to facilitate connections with Spanish speaking companies, institutions, customers and colleagues. 3 Lecture hours. Taught in Spanish. Prerequisite: SP 122 or NU Placement Test score 275 or higher. Offered: Fall.
