This course presents key concepts in the study of cultures and explores how culture and cultural contexts and language influence values, expectations, behavior, communication styles and conflict resolution. Includes an international comparative approach. Credit in SO 218 cannot be earned when credit exists in SOCI 335. Offered: Spring, Summer, Fall.
