Catalog description

Provides an overview of career paths available to psychology majors, focusing on graduate education, professional practice and opportunities in various fields such as healthcare, education, business and research. Topics include self assessment, job market analysis, networking and skill development. Students engage in practical activities such as career planning, resume building and mock interviews to prepare for future professional opportunities. By the end of the course, students create a personalized career plan outlining their goals and the steps needed to achieve them. Prerequisite: PY 110. Grade of D- or higher. Offered: Spring.
