Catalog description
Examines human development across the lifespan, with an emphasis on physical, cognitive, social, and emotional changes from infancy through late adulthood. Students will explore major theories, developmental milestones, and the biological, psychological, and environmental factors that shape development. The course also considers individual differences and contemporary issues in developmental science. Prerequisite: Grade of D- or higher in PY 211 or PY 110. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
