Catalog description

Designed to examine the current theory and research about contemporary public health. Students will utilize qualitative and quantitative approaches to access population level public health topics by describing the major causes and trends of morbidity and mortality in the U.S. and other global communities especially in areas where the U.S. military and government are providing assistance. Emphasis is on discussion of supporting, training and encouraging others in the pursuit of well-being in all dimensions of life and encouraging others to adopt and maintain wellness lifestyles given their respective population and cultures. Offered: Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer.
