Catalog description
This virtual residency experience enables students to demonstrate competency in advanced nursing care, applying evidence based, person centered approaches to care offered in diverse clinical settings. Through a focus on advanced clinical reasoning, interprofessional collaboration and ethical decision making, students will showcase their ability to deliver high quality, equitable and coordinated care. Emphasis is placed on integrating health promotion, quality improvement and emerging technology to meet complex health needs and lead within healthcare teams. By the end of this course, students will demonstrate competency in the Level C Objectives. Prerequisites: NR 704L or NR 714L or NR 709L. Grade of B or higher. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
