AGNP-AC Clinical I

Catalog description

This course serves as the first of five clinical courses devoted to the application of foundational nurse practitioner knowledge to the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner AGNP-AC specialty. With a focus on interprofessional partnerships, communication and teamwork within the healthcare setting, students will apply previous knowledge to hands-on clinical experiences. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to advance to the next seminar and clinical course in the AGNP-AC track. This course includes 150 clinical hours. Prerequisite: NR 698. Grade of B or higher. Corequisite: NR 710. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
