Catalog description

This course serves as the last of five clinical courses devoted to the application of foundational nurse practitioner knowledge to the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP specialty. With a focus on team advanced leadership, mentorship and accountability, students will apply knowledge to hands-on clinical experiences. By the end of this course, students will demonstrate competence and proficiency with the requisite knowledge and skills of the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner profession. Prerequisites: NR 708 and NR 708L. Grade of B or better. Corequisite: NR 709. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
