Catalog description
This course serves as the fourth of five clinical courses devoted to the application of foundational nurse practitioner knowledge to the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP specialty. With a focus on team leadership, care coordination and holistic, person-centered care, students will apply knowledge to hands-on clinical experiences. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to advance to the next seminar and clinical course in the PMHNP track. Prerequisites: NR 707 and NR 707L. Grade of B or better. Corequisite: NR 708. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
