Catalog description
This course serves as the fourth of five seminars devoted to the application of nurse practitioner knowledge to the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP specialty. With a focus on evidence-based practice, policy advocacy and equitable healthcare, this course complements and enhances the clinical knowledge and skills gained in NR 708L. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to advance to the next seminar and clinical course in the PMHNP track. Prerequisites: NR 707 and NR 707L. Grade of Be or better. Corequisite: NR708L. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
