Catalog description

This course serves as the third of five seminars devoted to the application of nurse practitioner knowledge to the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP specialty. With a focus on clinical leadership, quality improvement and professional practice, this course complements and enhances the clinical knowledge and skills gained in NR 707L. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to advance to the next seminar and clinical course in the PMHNP track. Prerequisites: NR 706 and NR 706L. Grade of B or higher. Corequisite: NR 707L. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
