Catalog description

This course serves as the second of five clinical courses dedicated to the application of foundational nurse practitioner knowledge to Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP specialty. Emphasizing advanced nursing knowledge and the integration of informatics and healthcare technologies in mental health settings, students will engage in hands on clinical experiences that enhance their practice. By the end of this course, student will be well prepared to progress to the next seminar and clinical course in the PMHNP track. Prerequisites: NR 705 and NR 705L. Grade of B or higher. Corequisite: NR 706. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
