Catalog description

This course serves as the second of five seminars devoted to the application of nurse practitioner knowledge to the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner PMHNP specialty. With a focus on advanced nursing knowledge and the use of informatics and healthcare technologies within the healthcare setting, this course complements and enhances the clinical knowledge and skills gained in NR 706L. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to advance to the next seminar and clinical course in the PMHNP track. Prerequisites: NR 705 and NR 705L. Grade of B or higher. Corequisite: NR 706L. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
