Catalog description

This course serves as the last of five seminars devoted to the application of nurse practitioner knowledge to the Family Nurse Practitioner FNP specialty. Students will refine their ability to lead, advocate and practice within their population focus area while fostering holistic well-being for patients and themselves. This course complements and enhances the clinical knowledge and skills gained in NR 704L. By the end of this course, students will demonstrate competence and proficiency with the requisite knowledge and skills of the Family Nurse Practitioner profession. Prerequisites: NR 703 and NR 703L. Grade of B or higher. Corequisite: NR 704L. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
