Catalog description

This course serves as the fourth of five seminars devoted to the application of nurse practitioner knowledge to the Family Nurse Practitioner FNP specialty. With a focus on evidence-based practice, policy advocacy and equitable healthcare, this course complements and enhances the critical knowledge and skills gained in NR 703L. By the end of this course, students will be prepared to advance to the next seminar and clinical course in the FNP track. Prerequisites: NR 703 and NR 702L. Grade of B or better. Corequisite: NR 703L. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
