Catalog description
This course serves as the third of five clinical courses devoted to the application of foundational nurse practitioner knowledge to the Family Nurse Practitioner FNP specialty. With a focus on evidence based practice, therapeutic communication, care coordination and well being, students will apply knowledge to hands on clinical experiences. By the end of this course, student will be prepared to advance to the next seminar and clinical course in the FNP track. Prerequisites: NR 701 and NR 701L. Grade of B or higher. Corequisite: NR 702. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
