FNP Clinical II

Catalog description

This course serves as the second of five clinical courses devoted to the application of foundational nurse practitioner knowledge to the Family Nurse Practitioner FNP specialty. With a focus of advanced nursing knowledge and the use of informatics and healthcare technologies within the healthcare setting, students will apply knowledge to hands on clinical experiences. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to advance to the next seminar and clinical course in the FNP track. Prerequisites: NR 700 and NR 700L. Grade of B or higher. Corequisite: NR 701. Offered: Fall, Spring, Summer.
